He recently finished his critically acclaimed run on Vampirella Revelations from Harris Comics in which Mike won Best Black and White Illustration Art Show Award of Excellence from I-CON 25.
Currently, Mike is working on the much anticipated, creator-owned, WWII pulp adventure entitled The Mercury Chronicles from Markosia Comics with co-creator Vito (Batman Adventures) Delsante. He has also taken his talents to the interior design field collaborating with interior design family Kreiss Furnishings, with the work featured in the New York Times.
Mike has also illustrated educational comics for Scholastic (Macbeth, Arabian Knights, Treasure Island, The Sword in the Stone, Jane Eyre), and Simon and Schuster. Medical Comics for GlaxoSmithKline and financial comics for Soloman Smith -Barney.
In his spare time Mike like to Sumi-E paint (serenely), play softball (intensely) and collect Silver-Age comics (with empty pockets). Mike travels to all his convention appearances with his lovely wife Marie (his original art dealer) and his 3 yr. old son Robert (who believes at times he is Ben 10).
